Pleasant Valley Winery

Challenge: Pleasant Valley Winery and its predecessor, Great Western, occupy a historic set of buildings of international notice. Spider Graphics was asked to present the venerable winery with sensitivity to its history yet in an up-to-date form with clear and simple navigation.

Solution: Spider Graphics’ design team led by Nancy Neumann chose a centered design, seldom a good choice, but ideal for reflecting stability. The design rests on the patina of a faded background of old painted brick. Spider Graphics’ specialty “Buy Page” for wineries is installed for simple online ordering.

Results: Just released in August 2005, the website is seeing good traffic and receiving compliments from viewers.
